This course satisfied the Minnesota requirements for obtaining a handgun permit. Both the course and its instructor are certified by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA). This training is guaranteed to be accepted by all Minnesota Sheriffs.
For this course, you will
need a handgun, 30 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection.
I also recommend bringing a pen and paper to take notes. Handguns
are available for rent for this course. Rental fee is $10.00 and
includes ammunition.
While the Permit-to-Carry Course centers mainly on legal issues, this course is all about shooting. This course is highly recommended for first time handgun owners or anyone thinking of getting a Permit to Carry. Even if you are an advanced shooter, this course is a great way to practice your skills.
